A negative review can be a death sentence for a merchant.
This puts the customer in control of the transaction. If they’re not happy with service, quality, speed, etc. they have recourse.
And if that weren’t enough… the marketplaces are transparent. Skittish consumers can see what the merchant has sold, read reviews from other consumers, and have their questions answered immediately by live agents.
Pretty hard to beat…
