I was ACTUALLY asked this question by TWO separate clients in one day! You can’t make this stuff up…
When I posted about it on LinkedIn recently, comments poured in asking for proof.
“Is there REALLY a difference?”
We put it to the test and the results were OVERWHELMING.
We tested our theory with two separate email campaigns. In the first set of emails for each campaign we included only product shots. In the second set of emails we added images of a model or models. The copywriting and offer remained unchanged.
Conversion rates jumped DRAMATICALLY in the emails featuring models (heads intact of course,) with an increase of 111.7% for the first campaign and 54.3% for the second campaign.
You can’t argue with the numbers….
